  • report this comment as inappropriatemissing part from my statement collapsed bay window, and the fact that the NHS got rid of my accident forms and covereded up the facts relating to my case as they did in the seventies. In 2003 I payed for my medical records and found the part of my record relating to the accident I was told did not exist. I was paid £700.00 as compensation for, 3 slip disc been blind 6 times because the inflamation from the spine leaks into my blood. I am a diabetic, because of steroids used to save my sight. I have curveture of the spine and spondilitist. the list is endless, I am glad that there are people who now pick up cases like mine even though, evil people still get rid of accident forms. It is not easy claming compensation, and living with the pain and distress is even harder. Thousand of nurses are injured daily in the NHS. The after care I hope is now better than in the seventies I had to pay for private care then.

  • report this comment as inappropriatewhile community legal services may provide a good service by locating and providing service providers. In my case the services providers for housing disrepairs have sided with my land lord the local council. At present we are living with part of a bay which has collapsed, and a kitchen sink which collapsed and has been proped up. The council told the dervice provider that I did not want to move, and the last time I spoke to them after telling them no to listen to the council. I am made to feel that because legal aid is paying the bill. They can tell me what is best for me despite all we have been through. Northampton Borough Council was voted the worse council in England, has continued to lie and tell me that I should forget the pass. They have even put that statment in writing. We are on our 3-4 solicitors who onece they have spkoken to the council have sided with them. Yet we are living with the problems that the council claimed money for from central government but did not spend 1p of it on the property. I would like to leave Northampton but I already feel like a refugee though I have been in England since 1971. Due to an injury from nursing I an stuck here living with many side effects from the drugs I have been prescribed. It feels like hell but I do my best to cope. I feel that we are a part of the market were people are sold and bought.

  • report this comment as inappropriateMy son took my retirement property without me ever signing anything. It is called criminal fraud. I recently found out that he has been telling everyone that I am a pedophile which is not true. I have no criminal record. I need serious help with this problem.

  • report this comment as inappropriateI need a legal aid lawyer to get me out of a housing contract. There is only one lawyer in the county who will take my case (15 miles away), plus five in adjacent Counties. The law is useless if you can t afford or find a lawyer. I ll happily pay higher taxes for a fair society, but lawyers need to be persuaded to take it.
